Terms of use
These tools are free and provided as they are. Using them means accepting the few things below.
Last updated: 5 November 2026
What you are agreeing to
By using almostfree.online or any tool on its subdomains, you accept these terms. If you do not, the right response is simply not to use them.
The tools are free, and provided as-is
There is no charge, no account and no contract. There is also no warranty: the tools are offered without any guarantee that they are fit for a particular purpose, will produce a correct result, or will be available at any given moment. They run on a single small server, and they can be slow, broken or offline.
Keep your originals. A tool that compresses, converts or trims a file gives you a new file; it is not a backup service, nothing is stored for you, and a result you do not save is gone when you close the tab.
Content you are responsible for
You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you put through these tools. That matters most for the video downloader: many platforms' terms of service restrict downloading, and most videos are protected by copyright held by someone other than the person downloading them.
Use it for material you own, material that is in the public domain, material published under a licence that permits it, or where you otherwise have the rights holder's permission. Do not use it to copy or redistribute work that is not yours. That restriction is on you, not on the tool, and it is not something this site can check on your behalf.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Use these tools for anything unlawful, or to infringe someone else's rights.
- Automate heavy traffic against them. They are shared, single-server tools; scripted bulk use spoils them for everyone and will be blocked.
- Attempt to break, overload or probe the infrastructure behind them.
- Present these tools as your own product or service.
Advertising
These sites carry advertising, which is what pays for hosting. Ads are served by Google and are not endorsements — what appears is chosen by Google's systems, not selected here. The privacy page explains the cookies involved and how to opt out of personalised ads.
Links to other sites
Some pages link elsewhere. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and are not under this site's control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss or damage arising from using these tools — including lost files, lost time, or a result that turned out to be wrong. If that is not an acceptable risk for what you are doing, use software you control instead.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top shows when they last did. Continuing to use the tools after a change means accepting the revised version.
