Privacy
The short version: there are no accounts here, nothing you process is uploaded for most of these tools, and the only third party involved is Google, which serves the ads.

Who this covers
This policy covers almostfree.online and the tools on its subdomains — the video downloader, image tools, PDF tools, developer toolkit and MiniPlay. They are run by the same person and behave the same way unless noted below.
What is not collected
There is no sign-up, no login and no user profile. Nothing asks for your name, email address or payment details, and there is no newsletter. No analytics product is installed, so there is no record of which pages you visited or how long you stayed.
What happens to the files and text you work on
Most of these tools run entirely inside your browser tab. Compressing an image, merging a PDF, decoding a JWT, formatting a query, playing a game — all of that happens on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded, which means there is no copy for anyone to keep, and the tools keep working if your connection drops after the page has loaded. You can confirm this yourself by opening your browser's network tab and watching it stay quiet while you work.
The video downloader is the exception, and it is worth being plain about. A link you paste there is sent to that site's own server, which looks up the video and lists the available formats, then streams the file you choose back to you. A web page cannot do this on its own, because the platforms refuse cross-origin requests. The link is used for that lookup and nothing else; temporary files are deleted as soon as the download finishes, and no history of what you downloaded is kept on the server.
Things stored in your browser
Some tools remember small preferences using your browser's local storage — a chosen theme, a recent list, game scores. That data never leaves your device, is not readable by us, and clearing your site data removes it permanently.
Advertising
These sites carry Google AdSense advertising, which is what pays for the servers. That involves cookies:
- Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to these sites and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
How Google handles data from sites that use its services is described in Google's privacy and terms .
Server logs
The web server records ordinary access logs — the page requested, the time, the browser's user agent and the IP address the request came from. Every web server does this, and it is what makes it possible to tell whether a site is up and whether something is abusing it. These logs are not linked to any identity, are not shared, and rotate automatically.
Children
These tools are not directed at children under 13 and no information is knowingly collected from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described rather than quietly edited in.
